In Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University (VCIWU), a budding and the youngest University of Telangana State and first Women’s University in Telangana State, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the ethical and strategic commitment to contribute positively to society, beyond its core mission of teaching and research. It involves embedding social responsibility and civic principles into the academics. The University shall involve in CSR activities such as:

Vision

To promote ethical, sustainable and community focused initiatives that align with the University’s academic and social values

Mission

To develop and implement CSR policies that guide outreach, sustainability and ethical practices across the stakeholders
To ensure integration of CSR principles into academic curricula, research and campus operations
To organize and oversee the commuity service programs involving students, staff and faculty
To collaborate with local organizations, NGOs and Government bodies to address social issues such education, health, environmental sustainability
To promote volunteerism and civic responsibility amon students and staff
To prepare annual CSR reports detailing activities, outcomes and future plans
To ensure transparency and accountability in the use of resources and execution of program
To encourage interdisciplinary research on CSR-related topics
To empower students and faculty to initiate and lead CSR projects.
To ensure compliance with national and institutional CSR guidelines and ethical standards
To coordinate with University leadership to align CSR efforts with broader strategic goals
To serve as a liaison between the University and external stakeholders on CSR matters
To promote green campus initiatives and eco-friendly practices in the University campus
